I planted regular RR soybeans this year. I planted a mix of group 105, 107, 109 and 201 so I should have good bean production and green until 1st frost. I planted 2 plots with RR beans 1st plot is about 2 acres and the other is about 3/4 acre. The beans are doing well considering the very cool temps and drought that we are experiencing. The 1st picture is a strip that I planted that had corn that I was told was RR but wasn't and beans. The second picture is one of the lone surviving corn plants that survived my glypho spraying. I planted some sunflowers by hand in this strip a couple of weeks ago and they were just breaking out of the soil when the pictures were taken. Hope they will survive with the dry conditions. The deer are browsing on beans but not very hard so the beans should be OK as far as deer browse goes.
