Hi Pete, Glad to see you post. It has been a while. Don't be a stranger.

Thanxx TT. It's been a busy year and other "things" have occupied my time. The wife just retired so we're adapting to both of us being around at the same time. I've just completed a cam survey for seer on one of the large clubs I manage..
Even after two years the Stumpy's still works. coolsmiley.gif

Two year old stumpy's still works ? I have a bottle from last year that I barely used, will it be okay for this year ? it still tastes the same :) lol.

Also, would it work to put stumpys into a drip bottle that is often sold for scrape works? Or is there a better application for the stumpys?

Bubba,
The shelf life is normally 12-18 months. If refrigerated it seems to last for multiple years. I have some that is two years old and I can see diminished effects for attracting deer. But..it still works...
I've used it in a drip set up over scrapes. I've also just sprayed it in a scrape, also just poured it in an area fro a mock scrape...All methods work.
If you remember, Jerry initially started testing by pouring 12 oz in a couple holes in the ground at the base of small trees. We later moved to the spray application. From what we have seen, either method works, it just depends on what your goal is. If you want animals coming back to the site for a longer period, pouring on large amounts or use the drip method. If you want a cover scent or short erm atractant for individual sites, use the spray with 10-12 squirts. That lasts even through moderate rain.
Good luck.
If anyone is interested in new stock...send me an e-mail. I'll give members here a deal for $8.50/ bottle plus shipping. ( Free shipping for 6- btl case lots)

I put out about 1/2 of an old bottle, put my cam out and filled up a 2 gig card in 3 days !

I will say that the does were most excited about it, only had one buck in there, but he was
definitely interested in the 'smell' and the fawns, well, they played like fawns, and seemed pretty much
oblivious to most things around them.

I need to order some more.

Marc,
I just got 5 cases of Stumpy's in here at the house.. It should be possible to get together if you want any quantity. Just let me know..

Bubba,
Nice meetin you also. Sorry we didn't have more time to talk.. The grandson did get a goose this morning even though I couldn't go with them.
Was able to make a short walk in the woods to pick up 4 cams I have had out for the past 10 days.
The Stumpy's still draws em in.

If anyone needs some, send me an e-mail...
