Just thought id throw this out there... does anybody dove hunt? its big down here didnt know if anybody up north dove hunts. if u dont your missin out its really fun.

I just went dove hunting for the first time last weekend. It opened here in Missouri Sept 1st and its huge. Back in Michigan there are only a select few counties that opened dove hunting a couple years back but they dont have the numbers like they do down here. It was so fun, i just bought a 20 ga. Remingon 1100 lightweight skeet model with a choked barrel and it shot great. We have a 15 bird limit and i got about 10 myself but if i was a better shot i couldve got a lot more. If you havent done it you need to, i couldve stayed out all day.

we went today. picked up 19 between me and another guy. coudnt find quite a few. its really fun! it was hott though!!!

I love dove hunting. We used to hunt them in the old strip mines. When they back filled the pits they put down hay and seeds and the doves packed in for the mud puddles, seeds and dust. This year they didn't back fill anything and we couldn't find a decent farm field that was harvested to hunt. I don't think a lot of people dove hunt in PA but there are some of us spread out here and there.

yeah. we dove hunt like crazy down here. it came in today and there was a ton of hunts spread across south alabama
