I have a nikon laser 800 rangefinder that I bought new and have had for 7 years. I still use it today but have debated on buying a newer, angle compensating model. I never considered selling it until I saw your post. I guess I'm curious how much you will give me for it.
I pulled it out of my hunting pack and snap a couple of pics. It is a little dirty but I have babied it. It's never let me down. It takes 4 AAA batteries. I also have the case with which it came. Let me know if you have any questions.
The tape covers the battery door not because it's broken but because it is easy to hit the release button and I've always had a fear of accidently pressing it in my treestand and the batteries come popping out.
