VeI've used thunderheads for years w/ good results but i swapped to slick tricks last year in hopes for a little more defined enntrance hole. Haven't got a chance to field test them yet

I would recommend G5 broadheads. I really like the strikers and the Montec CS heads. They're perfectly balanced made using MIM (Metal Injection Molding) and are extremely tough. They fly right with my field points and leave great blood trails. The Striker (replacement blade head) has some of the sharpest blades I've ever seen manufactured by Lutz one of the premier razor blade manufactures in the world. Give them a shot.

I use the First Cut mechanicals on one setup and Thunderhead 100's on the other set up. The First Cuts keep changing manufacturers each year. I think they are made by Eastman Outfitters this year. I use the mechanicals on my faster bow and get a pass thru most times. I shoot 332 fps with it on the chono with a 388gr arrow. For my older slower bow, I shoot tree trunks with 2219 on the bark using Thunderheads on the end. I was going to chono it, but I think id be ashamed. Those heavy 2219's at low speed get a pass thru all the time except once when I hit ribs on both sides and a shoulder blade. I have been thinking of going with the G5's but I buy my Thunderheads and FirstCuts at wally world on clearence in archery season and set them aside for the following year.

I've shot Grim's before and they are accurate and deadly on whitetail. However, I did have to buy replacement components quite regularly such as blades, springs, and collars. It was just too costly having to replace these. Maybe I practiced a lil too much with them. I switched to Magnus Stingers last season and got great results with accuracy and they proved to be deadly as well. They were less expensive up front and they didn't have all the mechanical components to go bad . They also have a lifetime guarantee but I haven't had to send them back. They are simply rock solid and very sharp. I just run the edge with a sharpner after a kill and they are good to go again. I've shot thunderheads as well and have no complaints about them. They'll always get the job done. To me, there like the 30-06 of broadheads. They have put alot of deer down over the years for many folks. I recommend checking out the magnus website and the thunderhead would be #2 on my list.

I use the Rage 2 blades. Devastating is probably the best descrption. I'll post some damage pics when I make it back to my computer. I'm on my phone now.
