I shoot a whisker biscuit and maxima hunter weight forward arrows. Can I do anything to quiet the arrow friction noise while drawing back? It costed me a good buck last year and wanted to prevent it this year if I could. Most deer don't hear it, but the very alert ones do in very quiet woods.

I have shot the bisquit for a few years now and have been happy with it on shots out to 25 yards . . . but I also noticed the noise factor when drawing. I used some thin mole skin to cut a butterfly shaped piece that was about the width of the arrow shaft in the middle. I inserted this into the bisquit and folded over both sides. This seemed to work pretty good. You will have to fashion the moleskin to stick to the whiskers or make it bit enough to reach the ring. should fix your sound problems.
I have now switched over to the Ultra Rest HD. Awesome drop away that also contains your arrow. This gives me much more accuracy out beyond 25 yards . . . I was having issues with the small blazer vanes when shooting thru the bisquit. They seemed to keep arrows periodically.
Good luck.
