The U.S. Sportsmens Alliance, Central North Carolina Council, BSA, BassPro Shop, and the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission are hosting a youth event on November 5, 2005 near Albemarle, NC at Camp Barnhart. We are looking for volunteers to help out at shooting, archery and fishing stations or if someone knows of a unique program that would be enjoyable for the kids.

If interested or know of someone that would be a good contact feel free to contact us or drop me an email.

silbowhunter,

They have been going very well and reach a wide variety of kids. Some of the kids have never shot a gun or bow and some believe it or not have never even picked up a fishing pole. Some are from the rural areas and some are from the cities.

It is good to see that they are being reconized.

So far we have held 18 of these events since Aug and we have 12 more to go this fall into November we will reach thousands of youth and their families. This is just in the fall half of the year, we also have these events going on in the spring as well. We usually have 60-70 of these events from coast to coast each calendar year.
