Well I thought I'd try to find out how many fellow Wisconsinites we have in this forum.

I'm from Racine but I have a hunting place just outside the Wisconsin Dells. You can see pictures of my trail cams at my webshots...

Not a true Wisconsinite, but I wish I was.

We hunt up north of Green Bay, little town called Pembine. My buddy's family has had their place for 50 years or so. We've been hunting up there since around 1992.

I live in the Madison area, but hunt mainly in Richland county for deer. I hunt many other parts of the state for small game, upland birds and waterfowl.

We just had a neighbor move up to Pembine this fall. Their daughters were friends with my daughters. Small world that's for sure!

That is a beautiful area up there. My buddy has 80 acres, surrounded by private land. There is a TON of public land up there however.
Thing is, they are building up that way and I really hope that we can continue our hunting up there.
My pic here is of the 8 pt I got this past fall. This is the biggest buck we have seen, let alone killed, in the years we've hunted up there. We heard rumor of a 10 pt being killed on the property next door (two years ago).
We hunt hard, from Sat until Tues and I cant believe that we havent seen anything bigger than a 4 pt.
Nice thing, I get the bragging rights now. ;)

I do most of my hunting up around the Dells area. This past year we were Earn-A-Buck so I had to take some does before trying for my buck. I never did get my buck this year but I did take some does.

If you check out my Webshots albums you can see some of the deer I caught on cam last year. Had some really nice bucks show up from time to time.

hey, wausau WI here. cant tell ya where i hunt deer, this past season was my first time there so i've kind of forgot where it is. (pathetic, i know)but this privat land really looks promising. i mainly hunt public land here for small game also.

You know, I can't really think of anything at the moment. It must be one of those things where you cant think of anything yet will when you no longer need the information. If I think of something I'll make sure to post it though.

It seems the both of us will be busy that weekend. Im going camping at 9 mile. Ahhh, the great outdoors.

rj- We were just up that way a few weeks back and found a pretty cool place. If you will have little ones, check this out:

But call early for tickets, they do sell them to the public on a limited basis. The lodge itself is pretty cool as well.

yeah, I should've thought of that, im just down the road from there. I haven't personally been there but I've heard only positive things about it. Also around that area is the Cedar Creek "mall" which has a cinema. And there is usually something playing in the Grand Theater in Wausau. Or you could just do what I like to, ice fish

I know Osseo very well. (Hwy 10) That's my turn off to get to Mondovi and Durand.

Until last year I had land in Alma, so I'd drive back and foth on 10 through Mondovi. I really like that area. If you ever see land for lease please let me know.

I've got family and friends that have about 1000 acres of hunting land between Durand and Menomonie and then around Molina (sp?)

I need to get me some of that land too!!!

I live just outside of Arcadia, in Buffalo county. I used to hunt Waumandee area but got leased out by relatives of the land owner. Now I hunt the 40 (19 wooded) I own.

Live in Two Rivers. Bow hunt my land in Langlade County and Gun Hunt in Bayfield County

I live in DeForest, but I hunt in Weyauwega, Mosinee, Oxford, and sometimes Mondovi.

I don't hunt far from Oxford at all! Up until a couple years ago, I hunted the Oxford area all the time. Now I'm about 10 minutes SouthWest of Oxford. Perhaps we'll have to tip a "kool-aid" one evening!

I also drive right through Mondovi (Hwy 10) towards the Durand area.
