IBS members keep your cameras handy. Non members: please join the IBS and share your photos. This is the time of year not only for good archery shots at deer, but also photo opportunities. Details and rules of contest are attached below.

Contest held in conjunction with 2006 IL Deer Classic
Prizes awarded in two categories:
1) Manually operated cameras: film or digital, B&W or color.
2) Trail monitor cameras: film or digital.

Photo subject matter shall be of archery/bowhunting activities such as camp scenes, tournament pictures, trophy shots, bowfishing, or huntable wildlife.

The Rules!!!

1. Each IBS member may submit photos in each category, but may only win one award per category. IBS member must have taken the photo submitted.
2. All prints must be submitted on photo quality paper, minimum size of 5” x 7”, and have name and address of owner clearly printed on back.
3. Photos taken with a self-timer may be entered in manual category.
4. Photos will be judged on photographic quality and subject matter. Photos in poor taste will be disqualified, i.e.: excessive blood, arrow in animal.
5. Need not be present at award ceremony to be eligible for prizes. An impartial panel of judges will judge entries and their decision shall be final. Winners announced and prizes awarded at Banquet.
6. Photo entries may be used in the Illinois Bowhunter Society Quarterly Newsletter. If you want your photo returned, please submit with self addressed and stamped envelope.
