ive been looking at the TC Encore and realy like it but the other day i looked at a CVA optima elite the gun was just over 300 bucks and the barrels were like 130!! thats alot cheaper than the Encore! its a nice looking gun too. do you really think its worth paying the extra money? ive never owned a CVA, are they a reliable gun?

thanks for the info
HUNTNMEDIC
NCWARDEN I HAVE HUNTED WITH AN OPTIMA PRO FOR 2 YEARS AND AM GREATLY PLEASED. I'M THINKING ABOUT GOING WITH THE ELITE FOR MYSELF AND MY BOYS, IT'S JUST FLAT CHEAPER AND BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE AND APPARENTLY THOUSANDS OF OTHERS (# 1 SELLING ML IN U.S.) IT'S THE REAL DEAL. YOU A WILDLIFE OFFICER OR OTHER TYPE WARDEN? WERE FROM THE FOOTHILLS AND $300 BEATS $600 EVEN IF THE GROUPS SPREAD A LITTLE!!

Just saw Oneil Williams's show where he visited the CVA factory in SPAIN. Looked good for not made in USA. I always though CVA stood for Conneticut Valley Arms and was made in the USA but I guess not. Don't know where T/C is made. Just looked it up and it appears T/C is now owned by S&W in Rochester, New Hampshere.??????
