Thinking of getting a 270wsm abolt, anyone got one and thoughts. Was wondering about the kick, like to be able to keep scope on target. Will have a 4x12-50mm scope on it i think.

I have a similar question, but I'm looking at a 7 mm with a boss. Also wondering if the WSM is as good as the ballistics show.

I've got an A-bolt BOSS in 7mm rem mag and it almost has no kick compared to a non boss gun. I've always shot a 7 mag and missed on occasion but since going to the Browning with the BOSS misses are a non occurence. It is verry accurate with sub minute groups using factory ammo and tweaking the Boss.

One word for the Browning A-bolt, HEAVY.

I have a Browning A-Bolt in .270wsm in a micro hunter.I put a sims limbsaver(about $30)and a timney trigger spring( about $20)and it shoots great& the recoil is not to bad.

well i got a bolt action remington .300 ultra mag... it packs a punch...got a limbsavers kick pad but really good gun id recommend it.

I have several friends that tote the gun in question and love it. However, the only gun for me these days is an A-bolt Hunter in 25WSSM - except when my wife is using it.
