Not far at all Muy! You do any hunting in the Basin? I hunt on the Attackapas WMA near franklin.

Basin, I used to hunt mostly around Whiskey Bay near Sherburne. Now, I have a lease near Melville north of Opelousas. I just got all the stuff to build my first cam, I need to get the thing in the woods to start scouting but I am kind of unsure of where to start. Let me know if you have any pointers (P41, Pix LE, Otter 3000).

I saw them. They are very nice!!! I would like to have a game cam and am considering TRYING to build one(that's what led me here)to save some money, since money is really tight right now. I'm still trying to repair from the flood from hurricane Rita. I actually live in Lydia and my house flooded. If I decide to just buy one, I'll definately look you up and I'll spread the word about your cam's too!!! Good luck with them. It's a nice website you have on them too!! The BSBA is having a 3D shoot at Thistlethwaite WMA next Sunday(Apr 23rd). If you shoot 3D, come out and bring a couple cam's to kind of show around. It might spark some interest!!!!

I don't shoot 3d, but I might have to start. That would be a good way to showcase my cams. Thanks for the invite!
