Hey guys, I was looking at a bunch of web sites to find out what type of mineral product to go with. There are so many out there. I don't know whether to get deer cocaine, lucky buck, stump likker or what. Some guys seem to like the minerals with molases but I wanted to get some input from you guys on what to use or should I just go witht the basic salt block.

I make my own. Lot less money and deer love it. Here is the recipe.

2 parts Trace mineral with selenium {loose material not block}
1 part 18.5% Di-Calcium Phosphate
Sprinkle a little Beast Feast for flavoring and smell.

Last year I went through 450 pounds of this mix as fast as I put it out they would clean it up. I have used about 70 pounds of it this spring already. The two main ingredients you can get at Farm Supply Store or Co-op and the Beast Feast at Sporting Goods Store.
