Does anyone shoot the Apex mag 209 muzzleloader by winchester?I was thinking about buying one and wanted to know how they perform or if you like yours. Thanks, Larry

Haven't had one in hand but that new "swing breech" design is unique. Sure makes it nice for removing the breech plug. Good luck. Let us know what you find if you buy one.

This is just another CVA, Remington, or traditions. They are all made by BPI. For the money I think I would go with either the Kodiak Pro or the Optima Pro or Elite.

I have the apex .45 cal. it is a sweet deal for the money it holds a 2 inch group at 200 yards with 100 grains of 777 and a 200 grain hornady hollow point. I have only had it for a few days and I am very happy with its performance.
