I use a 20 ga Mossberg 500 with a Simmons 3x9x40 prohunter scope. I just added a woodchuck to the food chain at 75 yards. Lucky shot. I have to get a rifle, since $1.80 per wood chuck is getting expensive.

I bought a special mossyoak dipped camo HR several years ago in 12ga with extra full turkeyscrew choke. It is one of my favorite shotguns of all time so light to carry, super short because you have no action on a single shot, and it more than gets the job done to many turkeys to count fell that that gun inclueing several kids first toms after loneing it to them while I called.
