What part of N.W. Fl are you from I live in Defuniak springs.

myself and xxkilla are from niceville area. well xxkilla is from niceville and i live on hurlburt field. do you hunt the reservation?

No I do all my hunting up north now.Some pretty big ones in the closed areas that sneek out and get shot but not by me.

they get killed by xxkilla. he's killed 3 bucks so far this year

Any of you Florida (South Georgia) Guys going to go to Joe Budd WMA this Season... Other good WMAS you know of...

i'll be hunting the eglin reservation. it's just north of fort walton beach. xxkilla will probably be hunting there too.

were is Joe Budd WMA located? i'm still new to florida and haven't found all the WMA's yet

On public lands you need to know which WMA and or what spot...

i hunt blackwater w.m.a. have a cabin in baker fl. deer are well trained look up at ever tree.this year there not moving much lots of acorns.but it is a beautiful forest.

have you done any good in blackwater this year. i've never hunted up there but i hear that there are a lot of deer up that way

slow been hunting there 6 years always did good till this year! lots of acorns and dry there not moving. grandson spots the 100 acres of corn and peanuts near the caben each night .the norm is 15 to 20 .this year 5.him and i well be up there christmas week the rut will be .on .hope they'll be on the move then.
got to brag grandson shot a everglades swamp 6 pt. with the smoke pole last mouth nothing like kicking the moccasin's out from under your stand in the dark

welcome, how the huntin over that way this year??

I'm about an hour north of tallahassee but I hunt private land. I used to hunt on public WMA lands but it got to be too many of those individuals that will shoot at anything that moves. I could walk back over a mile by foot thinking I had the only way into the area. Daylight would come and there were orange vests in too many trees around me. I know some can't hunt on private land but to me it's worth the money for my safety.

I live in Mayo, at the start of the Big Bend are of Florida. I hunt on our farm and private land. We have some good bucks this year, because we didn't hunt on the farm for about 3 years. We hunted some private land, now we have some serious doe management to do, but we have some good bucks now also. If I can get some pictures I will post them.
