Well the phone calls and conversations have started from family and friends..."Hey where are going for opening day?" "Seeing any big bucks out there?" "Hey...where are we going to eat after the opening day hunt?" (I love that last one!!! )

I love this time of year because many of my family and friends are starting to get just as excited about gun season as I already have been for the past couple months. I know the time is getting close when I'll get to see family and friends that I only get to see during this 9 day period in November.

I get to look forward to telling and hearing those same old stories that we've told for years and still get just excited like I did when I first heard them being told.

Well let the countdown begin...
